Sabrina Tarannum is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Premier University Chittagong, Bangladesh. She holds an M.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from United International University (UIU), Dhaka, Bangladesh.
She teaches a variety of core and advanced courses including Operating Systems, Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming, Structured Programming, Data Communications, Theory of Computation and Machine Learning. Her academic journey has been marked by consistent excellence, having received a University Scholarship in each semester for securing the first position, as well as a Board Scholarship in recognition of her outstanding performance in the Junior Scholarship Examination.
Her research interests encompass Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Deep Learning, Image Processing, Cyber Security and advancements in Communication Engineering. She has authored multiple international publications including Scopus indexed Q1 journals, conferences, and book chapters contributing significantly to the development of AI-driven technologies, natural language processing, computer vision, and autonomous systems. She is dedicated to advancing academic excellence in technology and innovation with a strong focus on mentoring students and fostering their growth through dynamic teaching and research.
She is also an active member of the Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS).
