About

Shreyashi is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Premier University, Chattogram, and a dedicated educator and researcher in the fields of English language teaching, applied linguistics, and language education. With a strong academic foundation and growing experience in teaching and research, she is committed to enhancing English language learning through student-centered and research-informed practices.

She holds a BA (Honours) in English and a Master’s in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Premier University, Chattogram, along with a second Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). Her academic journey reflects a deep interest in the dynamics of language acquisition within multilingual contexts. She even got her achieved her gold medal award for the highest CGPA in her undergraduate level. Currently, she is teaching language based courses to the students of CSE and EEE department.

Shreyashi’s research interests include Second Language Acquisition (SLA), Sociolinguistics, Multilingualism, Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Translanguaging, and Teacher Education. She has authored a research paper and presented it in December 26, 2023, in an academic seminar of the Department of CSE, Premier University. She focused on translnaguaging and minority people English education and insights. Thus, she is passionate about improving English language education in under-resourced settings and continues to explore ways to make English teaching more inclusive, effective, and relevant.
